1. Refund Eligibility
At Chiku AI, we strive to provide excellent service. Refunds are only considered when your paid AI minutes have not been used. Once you have used your paid minutes, you are not eligible for a refund. You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- None of your paid AI minutes have been used
- Accidental duplicate purchases
- Billing errors on our part
Please test before you buy. Every account includes free AI minutes. We strongly recommend you thoroughly test the app using your free minutes to confirm it works for your setup before purchasing. If your paid minutes have been used, no refund will be issued.
2. Refund Timeline
Important: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase.
- Paid minutes not used: Full refund eligible if requested within 7 days of purchase
- Paid minutes used: No refund available
- After 7 days: No refunds available
3. Non-Refundable Situations
We cannot provide refunds in the following cases:
- Any of your paid AI minutes have been used. We provide free minutes so you can thoroughly test the app before purchasing
- Change of mind after using the service
- Dissatisfaction with the AI's answers or output quality. We offer a free tier so you can evaluate Chiku AI before purchasing. Please try the free tier and confirm it meets your needs before relying on it for an important interview
- Failure to achieve desired interview outcomes
- User error or misunderstanding of service features
- Internet connectivity issues on the user's end
- Device compatibility issues disclosed in our requirements
- Violation of our Terms of Service
4. Minutes Used Are Non-Refundable
Paid AI minutes are non-refundable once any of them have been used. We do not offer partial refunds based on remaining minutes. To avoid this, please use your free AI minutes to thoroughly test the app and confirm it works for you before purchasing a paid plan.
* 18% GST is applicable on all plans and is added at checkout.
5. How to Request a Refund
- Contact Support: Email us at support@chiku-ai.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Provide Information:
- Your registered email address
- Purchase date and transaction ID
- Reason for refund request
- Any supporting documentation
- Review Process: Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
- Decision Communication: We'll email you our decision with reasoning
- Processing: If approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
6. Refund Methods
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Bank transfers may take 5-7 business days to reflect
- Credit card refunds typically appear within 3-5 business days
- Digital wallet refunds are usually instant to 1 business day
7. Cancellation Policy
Immediate Cancellation:
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation is effective immediately
- No future charges will occur
- Remaining time/minutes will remain available until exhausted
Account Closure:
- You can request complete account deletion
- All data will be permanently removed within 30 days
- This action cannot be undone
8. Dispute Resolution
If you're not satisfied with our refund decision, you may:
- Escalate to our management team via support@chiku-ai.in
- Contact your bank or payment provider for a chargeback
- Seek resolution through consumer protection authorities
9. Free Tier Policy
Free Tier Users: Since the free tier doesn't involve payment, there are no refunds applicable. However, if you experience technical issues, we're happy to help resolve them or provide additional free credits when appropriate.
10. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
